The Sauternes Cask Matured limited edition has spent its full maturation in ex-Sauternes wine casks, then bottled at 50% abv. Anthony Wills, Kilchoman founder, selected from a combination of fresh and refill Sauternes barriques from 2017 and 2018, creating the perfect balance of buttery sweetness, barbecued pineapple, candied ginger and floral peat smoke.

  • Kilchoman’s 100% Islay 14th Edition was distilled from our 2013 and 2014 barley harvests before being matured in selected bourbon and oloroso sherry casks for a minimum of 9 years.

  • NOSE: Campire smoke, preserved lemon, orange peel, tropical sweetness.

    PALATE: Creamy caramelised sugars, vanilla, lemon, pineapple sweetness, fresh ginger, and oak smoke.

    FINISH: Oily and textured with rich sherry notes and lasting peat smoke.
